"Hey, hey, HEY!"

Modern Family is the new Arrested Development. I know, I know. That's a strong statement considering AR is in my top 3 tv shows of all time (along with LOST and Friends). I don't know why I didn't get into Modern Family when it started last year (my guess is it conflicted with another show) but I've seen an episode or two this season and thought it was decently funny. Then it took away all the Emmys from Glee so I knew it had to be good. Then it was on sale at Target for 20 and I had to bite. Well I may have watched the entire first season in a very small time frame (hey, they are only 22 minutes long) and I may or may not be obsessed Hint: I am.

It. Is. So. Funny. I crack up multiple times an episode. And I LOVE how all the little things add up by the end of the episode (something AR had down to a science). It's a toss up between Cam and Manny for my favorite character. Cam might possible have the edge. But I really love the whole ensemble and each actor plays their role really well. My only hang-up is Luke because sometimes he's awful at acting but that's the risk you run with child actors (not Manny of course). Speaking of Luke, did you know in real life that kid has been a member of Mensa since he was four?! I know, who would have thought?

But really, it's GOLDEN. And now I must catch up on this season a la Hulu.
