"You can't always get what you want/ But if you try sometimes you might find/ You get what you need"

Okay, I'm going to aim to do hour one of the finale because... well I write a lot when it's only one hour and people complain so I think two hours would kill me. So hour one, let's do this! Oh yeah, I can't find any pictures from the last episode... yet. Maybe in a few days I'll add some in. Provided someone, somewhere posts some! :)

Previously on this season of * slight pause *: Survivor! EvilRussell dumped out water bottles and talked a lot of trash... to the camera. Galu won and won and won and FF sucked big time. It rained a lot. NiceRussell almost died. Come merge time, the four reamaing FF managed to get rid of Galu even when Galu had a 2:1 advantage, thanks to Shambo switching sides. We are left with the final five: Mick, Russell, Jaison, Natalie, and MFBB. Who will be crowned the soul survivor?

Day 37- Russ awakens the other four with treemail. The challenge will involve balance, speed, and patience. Russ says he came focused, knowing he was going to suffer while everyone else acts shocked and whines that they are hungry, tired, and uncomfortable. Russ says he is with a bunch of misfits and should be here with superstars (...foreshadowing...). Well I think your butt would have been voted off earlier in that situation.

Jaison seems especially whiny and Mick tells him its only two more days. Apparently the boys think Natalie is going next and Mick thinks Russ is going to have a hard time voting her off. Jaison says "I don't know, I think Russ has an easier time doing things than you think." J says MFBB is going on "an immunity run like we've never seen". Uhh... you won two in a row. Way not to remember your own accomplishments, dude.

Russ goes and tells Nat if MFBB wins the next immunity she is going home because the need to keep the guys around to try and beat MFBB. Nat seems too content with this decision. STEP UP, NAT. Make an alliance with MFBB, then tell Mick or Jaison that Russ promised to take you to the final two and expose some of his lies and vote the little man out! It is NOT that hard! Nat tells us she intended to play the underdog but I think she means fly under the radar. But she says her strategy has worked so far. And probably lots of prayers.

Russ says (offcamera) that MFBB might win the next two immunities because if "Jaison can do it, anyone can do it". Well you know who can't? You cause you have yet to win a single individual immunity. And I think you've only won two team challenges and one of them was a glorified version of KerPlunk so don't speak, Russ, don't speak. Russ says "MFBB is no Mike Tyson, he's MFBB". Oooookay but then why are you planning all strategy around being able to beat him in challenges i.e. voting off Shambo when keeping her around would have been the equivalent of writing yourself the million dollar check.

Immunity challenge: An obstacle course involving balance beams, nets, and stairs. You must race through and grab a bag of puzzle pieces, race back and the first one to complete their puzzle, you guessed it, wins immunity.

And they're off: Jaison takes a nosedive in the beginning. Man those little legs move fast because Russ is out in front. Jeff is jogging alongside the course making me chuckle. Russ is first to climb the wall but everyone else is close behind and pretty much neck and neck. Russ, Mick, MFBB all have their puzzle pieces out. Soon enough, everyone is working on completing their puzzle of the Survivor logo, in the event we forget what show we are watching. It seems to be between Mick and MFBB yet again. Russ is picking up the pace. MFBB is soooo close. Mick is close too. And, and, and, MFBB WINS IMMUNITY FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't lie, I was jumping up and down on the couch when it actually happened. MFBB is a superstar.

And we are seeing the first of the "Foa Foura" go home after sending home seven Galu members. MFBB interviews that he has been trying to send home a FF for days and it is the first time he is seeing it happen and it is relieving.

Natalie says she might be going home because she is the weakest. Russ says he is going to hold on to her because she is riding his coattails and there is no way she can beat him in votes so he is taking her to the final two. He is trying to decide which of the other two FF males will be going home. Russ thinks Jaison checked out a long time ago. However, Russ thinks J cannot beat him in the votes. Mick on the other hand, has always been this close to beating MFBB for immunity but is more likely to get votes from the jury. What is the tiny man with a fedora to do?

Russ tells Jaison they are getting rid of Mick. J says they have had an alliance since day 2 and it has continued to grow. Russ tells Mick that J is going because he cannot beat MFBB. Mick also comments that he has had an alliance with Russ from the very beginning but he is shocked it has actually worked out.

Russ and Natalie discuss who should go home. Jaison is weak. Mick is competition for votes. Russ is torn. Not about having formed some semblance of a friendship with these people but rather how to ensure he wins the million.

TC: The jury enters and Shambo looks... exactly the same as she did being in the jungle without showering for over a month and that is sad. (Oh and the Shambo hatred is back in full force. We'll get there later.) Jeff asks Jaison the dumbest question to about when reality set in that a FF was going home. Jaison's answer "Uh, well, when you said 'MFBB wins immunity', Duh." Well not in so many words but really Probst, work on your material. More talk about stronger people or people you can beat on the jury. Who should stay, who should go, blah blah blah. J says that two or three people could command a lot of jury votes so that must mean MFBB and himself but who is the other one?

Jeff asks if MFBB has purposely been holding back since he is kicking butt all of the sudden. MFBB says the past few challenges have just catered to his strengths. MFBB says he is almost jealous of FF since he can't count on winning immunity every time and he is lacking a social game with the other four. They have each others back and are making decisions together (even if it is about who is about to go) and he doesn't have that camaraderie anymore. Russell is actually sort of hilarious and says "how hard is it to beat FF, really?", pointing out they only won one immunity challenge and MFBB has won three in a row. "We're still getting beat by Galu and only one of them is here." LOL. And of course since this is Probst's biggest man crush since Gravedigger James, he is eating this crap up and grinning like Russ is the quarterback and he is the head cheerleader making googly eyes at him on the quad before class.

Jeff brings up the fact that how you are playing the game is going to affect the jury's decision and you can't just make it to the end but rather, you need to earn it. He directs this question towards MFBB. Whatever, MFBB won three immunities, I think he deserves it.

Voting time: We see Mick and Jaison vote for each other and both say how this is a hard decision. Russ voiceovers that it is hard for him to do this but this is the best move for him to win the game. Not like we expected any goodwill from you this far in the game.

And the votes are: Jaison, Mick, Jaison, and the fourteenth person voted out is Jaison. He exits without saying a word to his former tribemates. See ya whiner. I really had such high hopes for you but you sort of ended up sucking since you were supposed to be all athletic and smart and you were just kind of... there. In his last words, he says he was blindsided (really? when there are only three other people that could be going home and it's not like anyone has even tried to oust Russell) and he is now rooting for MFBB since he is the underdog. GO MFBB!!

But I guess in Jaison's defense, it is revealed at Ponderosa that he lost 35 pounds so I'm sure he was hurting during a good majority of that game. He seems pretty happy to be back in civilization. Also, he and Erik end up becoming friends which is ironic since they exchanged some heated words during the TC where Erik was blindsided and all condescending. And if you want to see Jaison drunk, go and watch cause he loses at "wine pong" and chugs a couple of glasses before heading to tribal council. He is mixing up his words and it's pretty funny. Too bad it wasn't the final TC because then I bet his question would have been a lot more interesting!
